Full description

OBDeleven is all about making car tech easy and accessible for everyone. For over 10 years, we’ve been building powerful yet simple diagnostic and customization tools for car lovers worldwide.

As we continue to grow, ensuring the highest product quality becomes increasingly important. We’re looking for a Lead QA Engineer who will combine strong hands-on automation expertise with the ownership and leadership needed to continuously improve how we build and test our products.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You’ll still be writing and maintaining automated tests, but your impact will go beyond individual test cases — you’ll help shape our QA strategy, improve testing processes, shorten feedback and test cycles, and raise the quality bar across engineering.

What you’ll do:

  • Take technical ownership of our automated testing approach across mobile and web platforms (Appium-based mobile automation)
  • Drive, maintain, and continuously improve our existing automated end-to-end test suite
  • Identify opportunities to shorten test and release cycles, increase automation, and make quality feedback faster and more effective
  • Define and improve QA processes, methodologies, tooling, and best practices across the development lifecycle
  • Work closely with developers and product teams to build quality into the SDLC, rather than treating QA as a final step
  • Establish the right balance between automated and manual testing, with a strong focus on automating regression coverage
  • Improve testability, observability, and reliability of our products and test infrastructure
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other QA engineers
  • Help set priorities and raise the overall QA engineering standard within the team
  • Contribute to testing complex and evolving areas, including AI-driven features, when needed
  • Take ownership of QA-related improvements and drive them from idea to implementation
  • Over time, potentially take on people-management responsibility for the QA team, including coaching, development, performance, and team growth

We expect:

  • Strong professional experience in QA engineering and UI test automation
  • Solid hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test suites
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, test strategy, and QA processes
  • Experience working with CI/CD and test automation infrastructure
  • A track record of improving testing processes, automation coverage, and development/release efficiency
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to look beyond individual bugs and tests and understand quality at a system and process level
  • Experience influencing developers and other stakeholders on quality-related decisions
  • Proactivity and ownership — you see something that can be improved and drive it forward
  • Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other QA engineers
  • Experience testing mobile applications is a strong advantage
  • Professional fluency in Lithuanian and strong spoken and written English skills.

Here’s what we offer:

  • Fair pay for bold work: We reward your expertise with competitive pay that grows as you do.
  • Hybrid Work Flexibility: Work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home or wherever suits you best.
  • Focus on your well-being: Choose your comprehensive health plan, get paid days off to care for yourself and your family, and enjoy flexible working hours, as well as your birthday day off.
  • More time that truly counts: Enjoy a 4-day workweek for one month a year, depending on how well the company hits its goals. Plus, earn an additional vacation day for every working year with us - up to 4 extra days.
  • Real learning opportunities: Grow your skills with a 2% gross salary learning budget. Take your monthly paid self-learning day and improve stress-free.
  • Culture that connects: Enjoy Friday lunches on us, team buildings, company parties, and all the usual office perks like snacks, a cozy lounge, sport communities, and more.
  • Environment for real impact: Got an idea that'll make OBDeleven better? Share it, get feedback, fine-tune, and take action. We trust expertise and value ownership.

Salary range    Gross salary from 4600 – 7000 EUR/Month, depending on your experience
