We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC service, retrofit, equipment replacement, and construction projects from turnover through completion.
This role is ideal for someone with technical trade or field leadership experience who is ready to combine practical field knowledge with project planning, customer communication, and financial oversight.
What You’ll Do
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, labor, materials, and subcontractors
- Maintain an active jobsite presence and support field teams
- Coordinate with customers, general contractors, vendors, and internal departments
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, purchasing, billing, and project documentation
- Monitor project costs, labor performance, risks, and projected margins
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and customer expectations
- Lead project kickoff, progress, and closeout activities
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of mechanical project management, field supervision, trade leadership, or related experience preferred
- Hands-on technical trade experience required
- Commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read plans, specifications, scopes, and equipment documentation
- Working knowledge of scheduling, job costing, procurement, and change management
- Strong customer communication, organization, and field problem-solving skills
- Experience with COINS, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar systems is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to jobsites
This is a full-time position that divides time between the office, customer locations, and active jobsites.
