Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Product Manager providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/Electronic Systems (AFLCMC/HB). The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Electronic Systems portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/PEO Electronic Systems is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS.

This position specifically supports the Foreign Military Salses (FMS) Japan AWACs program.

This is a full time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Assist in developing a deep understanding of internal and external customers/stakeholders and their use cases.
  • Assist in the definition, monitoring, and communication of key performance indicators (KPI)’s for your product area.
  • Assist in the creation of the product roadmap process, including defining the sequence of the roadmap an assuring that the initiatives within the roadmap align with the appropriate corresponding business objectives and metrics.
  • Assist in defining and documenting product specifications and user stories to enable efficient implementation of new or enhanced features.
  • Assist in building strong relationships with all levels throughout the organization, ensuring transparency across our roadmaps, managing trade-offs, driving organizational alignment, and maximizing business value while minimizing risks.
  • Partner closely with data analysts, data scientists, engineers, Creative/UX/UI, and product teammates to execute against our roadmap objectives.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to continually improve our product in ways that matter most to our users and have the biggest impact on our KPIs.

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Clearance: Active Secret clearance

Education: BA/BS Degree

Years of Experience: 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting OR

  • 15 years of directly related experience with eight (8) years of experience in a DoD setting

Technical Skills

  • Extensive product management experience in customer-facing technology
  • Skilled in testing and research methodologies, including A/B testing, split testing, usability studies, and other customer research techniques
  • Hands-on experience with analytics and dashboarding tools such as Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Looker, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding and practice of agile and lean methodologies
  • Full product development life-cycle expertise, successfully managing medium to large-scale products from vision through launch
  • Deep understanding of business strategy, product metrics, and data-driven decision frameworks
  • Excellent analytical abilities with demonstrated strength in synthesizing data into actionable insights

  • Strategic and tactical thinker able to alternate seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution
