Full description

As the Project Manager – ELV Systems, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our Security Systems business. Based in Dubai, you will be part of a dynamic team, responsible for managing the design and execution of projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the project management team in designing and executing projects.
  • Monitoring assigned engineering projects, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Interacting daily with clients to understand their needs and represent the company in the field.

 

How you will do it

Your expertise in large project executions and in-depth knowledge of security systems solutions in the Middle East region will be crucial. You will:

  • Lead a team of field technicians and site engineers to complete and deliver security system projects.
  • Monitor and control project cost, time, and scope.
  • Prepare project progress reports and present them to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand and monitor various financial metrics of the projects, ensuring timely submission of billing invoices and facilitating payment collection.
  • Communicate formally (letters) and informally (verbally) with clients.
  • Prepare technical submittals, drawings, method statements, etc., as per project requirements.
  • Prepare and comply with project quality plans and inspection & test plans, ensuring full compliance with specifications and client requirements.
  • Initiate change processes to manage variations as per contract terms.
  • Ensure key milestone dates are met and develop plans to bring projects back on track if delays occur.
  • Manage all allocated staff and resources to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and train allocated staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company and client QHSE policies/procedures.
  • Liaise with QA/QC and HSE managers on all aspects of quality and HSE.
  • Monitor and control all aspects of specialist sub-contractors, including finalizing subcontract agreements, certifying subcontract invoices, and resolving disputes.
  • Ensure subcontractors follow all HSE guidelines as per company and customer policies.
  • Manage and archive all project data as per company guidelines.
  • Work with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

What we look for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a similar discipline from a reputable university.
  • Minimum of 6 years of project engineering experience in executing low voltage security systems.
  • Recent leadership experience in the GCC region.
  • Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, labor management, and influencing skills.
  • Clear understanding of Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) regulations.
  • Fluency in English and excellent email etiquette.
  • Strong decision-making skills.

Preferred

  • Project management certification such as PMP.
  • Experience working with Tier 1 Contractors.
  • Ability to converse and write in Arabic.
  • Additional certifications related to contracts and project program management, such as MS Project.
  • Certifications in various security system products.
