abra professional services is seeking a Senior System Administrator!

We are looking for an experienced Senior System & Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable enterprise IT environments. You will take end-to-end ownership of Linux systems, Active Directory, NetApp storage, and cloud/virtualization infrastructure, while collaborating closely with R&D/DevOps teams and leveraging AI tools to drive automation and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on design, deployment, and maintenance of Linux (Ubuntu / RedHat / CentOS) and Windows Server systems.
  • Management of virtualization environments (VMware/KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
  • Full responsibility for the architecture, configuration, management, and ongoing maintenance of NetApp storage systems (ONTAP / FAS / AFF), including Volumes, Snapshots, Qtrees, and performance optimization.
  • Management of Active Directory, identity management, backups, DRP, and data replication.
  • Writing automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible).
  • Close collaboration with development teams (R&D / DevOps).
  • Integration of AI technologies into infrastructure operations.

Requirements

Mandatory Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Lead System/Infrastructure Engineer in medium to large enterprises.
  • Proven and deep experience (3+ years) in managing, configuring, and maintaining NetApp ONTAP systems.
  • Deep experience (3+ years) in managing and maintaining Linux environments (Ubuntu / RedHat / CentOS).
  • Hands-on experience with VMware/KVM, cloud environments (AWS / Azure), and scripting (PowerShell / Bash / Python / Ansible).
  • Proven, deep experience in managing Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), GPO planning, and complex permissions management.
  • Proven experience working closely with R&D / DevOps teams.

Advantages:

  • Practical experience using AI tools (Generative AI / AIOps) for automation, data analysis, scripting/coding, and troubleshooting.
