Project Manager – Manufacturing IT & OT
Location: Gurgaon, India (with frequent travel to Sitargunj, Hosur, Mysore)
About the Role
We are accelerating a major digital transformation journey across multiple manufacturing locations in India. We are looking for a Project Manager – Manufacturing IT & OT who will lead, execute, and govern key technology initiatives across factories in Sitargunj, Hosur, and Mysore. The role is based out of Gurgaon, with regular travel to plant locations. This individual will be responsible for planning, driving, and delivering IT & OT programs—ranging from digital tools deployment to IT/OT cybersecurity improvements—ensuring that each site meets internal audit, compliance, and operational readiness requirements. You will serve as the central orchestrator between factory operations, engineering, corporate IT/OT teams, and external vendors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to internal standards. The role will also oversee and guide two site‑level IT/OT support team members who act as the execution arms within the factories.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Program Management
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, tracking, and
governance of all IT & OT projects across the three factory locations.
- Define project plans, milestones, resource needs, and
vendor deliverables.
- Ensure timely delivery and proactively remove execution
roadblocks.
- Drive cross‑functional alignment among Operations,
Engineering, Quality, IT Security, and Corporate IT teams.
2. IT & OT Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Own remediation and closure of ITGC, cybersecurity, OT
controls, and audit observations at all plants.
- Implement and monitor compliance for:
- OT asset inventory
completion
- Backup/restore
readiness of OT assets
- Network segmentation
& security policies
- Access governance for
IT & OT systems
- Coordinate with internal auditors, plant leadership,
and global teams to ensure full compliance.
3. Deployment of Digital & Automation Solutions
- Lead rollout of manufacturing digital tools such as:
- OT backup/restore
platforms
- Gate pass,
permit-to-work, and contractor management systems
- Asset tracking
solutions
- Shop-floor digital
applications
- Ensure solution adoption, training, and change
management at factories.
- Validate solution performance through structured UAT
and post‑go‑live reviews.
4. Factory Engagement & Stakeholder Partnership
- Act as the IT/OT single point of contact for Sitargunj,
Hosur, and Mysore plants.
- Conduct regular site visits, governance meetings, and
status reviews.
- Identify digital improvement opportunities in
collaboration with plant leadership.
- Build strong relationships with Factory Directors, EHS,
Quality, Engineering, and local IT teams.
5. Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor two on-ground IT/OT support engineers
located at plant sites.
- Set priorities, assign tasks, track performance, and
guide their day‑to‑day execution.
- Build capabilities within the team on OT cyber hygiene,
data practices, and digital tools.
6. Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Manage external vendors, OEMs, and solution partners
for IT/OT deployments.
- Handle vendor negotiation, contract finalization (with
legal/commercial teams), and delivery oversight.
- Ensure vendors meet internal standards for
documentation, security, and implementation quality.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial
Automation, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Project Management certifications (PMP/Prince2/Agile)
preferred.
Experience
- 6–9 years of experience in Manufacturing IT, OT,
Automation, or Digital Transformation roles.
- Proven track record of managing multi-site technology
projects end-to-end.
- Experience working with OT environments: PLCs, SCADA,
DCS, industrial networks.
- Strong understanding of ITGC, OT cybersecurity
frameworks, audit controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
Technical Competencies
- Knowledge of OT protocols, industrial networks, and
cybersecurity best practices.
- Familiarity with SAP, ServiceNow, ITSM processes, and
digital factory tools.
- Understanding of MES/SCADA integrations, data flows,
and system architectures.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Travel Requirement
