Financial Analyst
Miami, FL (100% onsite expectation)
Rate: $38-$40/hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs analyses of financial statements, cost data, operating and project reports.
- Performs complex calculations, and presents findings as required for each project.
- Makes initial assessments and recommendations as to areas requiring further review by auditors.
- Prepare accounting and other required reports and projections based on the analysis performed.
- Identify financial performance trends and financial risk and make recommendations
- Reviews and analyzes the records of financial institutions, such as savings and loan associations, including operating and investment records, and inspection of properties, to make initial identification of areas requiring further analysis.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related labor category field such as Finance or Accounting from an accredited college, university, school, or educational institution recognized by the US Department of Education.
- Minimum four (4) years recent experience as a Financial Analyst.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel to include formatting, VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, formulas, and functions
- Ability to provide favorable credit history.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have demonstrated experience working with large Excel files with pivot tables as required for arranging data and performing in-depth analysis of financial data.
- Ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects, flexibility in shifting focus.
- Must have and use excellent oral and written communications skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing work product.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines under direct supervision.
