Senior Network Engineer

Position: Senior Network Engineer Location: Saudi Arabia Work Mode: Onsite Joining Requirement: Immediate Joiners or candidates with a short notice period only currently based in KSA.

Experience Required: Minimum 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Network Operations, including 5+ years in leadership or managerial roles managing large-scale infrastructure teams. Experience working within Managed Services or large enterprise environments is mandatory.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to manage and lead enterprise IT infrastructure operations across Data Center (Azure and On-Premises) and Network Infrastructure environments.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong operational leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation through AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI-enabled IT Operations.

This role is responsible for ensuring infrastructure availability, service reliability, SLA compliance, security, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations

Lead end-to-end operations of:

• Data Center Infrastructure (Azure & On-Premises)
• Network Infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN)

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure services
• Managing proactive monitoring, incident management, problem management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Maintaining operational readiness and capacity planning for critical systems

Service Delivery & Operations Management

• Establish and maintain service levels aligned with business requirements
• Monitor and achieve SLA, OLA, KPI, and uptime targets
• Lead major incident management and service restoration activities
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and service management best practices
• Drive operational governance and continuous service improvement initiatives

Security & Compliance

• Ensure enterprise infrastructure complies with security and regulatory requirements
• Implement and maintain network security controls, access management, and infrastructure hardening
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk mitigation strategies

Stakeholder & Customer Management

• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, customers, and infrastructure teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and senior leadership
• Present operational reviews, service reports, and improvement plans to executive stakeholders
• Manage escalations effectively and ensure high customer satisfaction

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary infrastructure teams
• Manage workforce planning, performance management, coaching, and succession planning
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence

AI & Automation

• Drive adoption of AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI technologies within IT Operations
• Identify automation opportunities across infrastructure and support processes
• Implement AI-driven monitoring, analytics, predictive operations, and self-healing capabilities
• Improve operational efficiency and productivity through automation initiatives

Continuous Improvement & Transformation

• Lead infrastructure modernization and digital transformation programs
• Implement best practices in observability, monitoring, reliability engineering, and cloud operations
• Support cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure transformation initiatives
• Drive process optimization and continuous service improvement

Vendor & Financial Management

• Manage technology vendors, service providers, and support partners
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
• Ensure optimal utilization of infrastructure assets and service contracts

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Engineering
• Related discipline

Experience

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Network Operations
• Minimum 5+ years in leadership or managerial roles managing large infrastructure teams
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale and mission-critical environments
• Experience working within Managed Services or large enterprise customer environments is mandatory
