Overview

The Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting consulting engagements by coordinating project activities, preparing documentation, managing triage processes, and ensuring effective communication across internal and client stakeholders. This role provides essential operational support to the Delivery Consulting team, ensuring project milestones are met and service delivery is maintained to a high standard.

How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including slide decks for Project Kick-Off, Client UAT, and Client handovers.
  • Coordinate helpdesk and delivery client guides to ensure accuracy and timely updates.
  • Manage internal handovers to Service Delivery, ensuring smooth transition of responsibilities.
  • Lead UAT triage activities, logging defects, tracking progress, and updating project teams.
  • Support Delivery Consultants in smoke testing prior to Client Launches.
  • Administer Jira ticket triage and priority-setting activities.
  • Manage change request triage for new requirements.
  • Support benefit renewal requirement collation for all in-scope items.
  • Assist with HRIS/inbound data change preparation and documentation.
  • Support payroll data change documentation.
  • Prepare and validate provider data documentation.
  • Document and support portal content and notification requirements and updates.
  • Ensure alignment with Delivery Consultants on progress and outstanding items.
  • Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT or Computing

Technical Knowledge

Essential:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience working with SaaS technology solutions and remote collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Jira.

Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience supporting project delivery within a consulting or technology environment.
  • Experience working in dynamic and fast-paced delivery environments.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role with various levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding and experience of UAT, triage processes, and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Experience supporting requirements gathering workshops or stakeholder sessions.
  • Experience preparing or validating data extracts, provider files, or other structured datasets to support internal and client processes.

Skills/other:

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to create and manage structured documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively address issues.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Professional proficiency in English speaking, reading and writing.
