Who we are looking for 

 State Street is seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our technology organization. We are looking for a professional with strong business analysis, requirements management, and software testing experience who can effectively bridge business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, quality assurance teams, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of complex technology initiatives.

What you will be responsible for 

 As a Senior Business Analyst, you will: 

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders. 
  • Define functional and non-functional business requirements for technology initiatives. 
  • Create detailed technical specifications and requirements documentation for development teams. 
  • Serve as a liaison between business users and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases. 
  • Perform system integration testing and regression testing. 
  • Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. 
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and stakeholder sign-off. 
  • Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues. 
  • Assist in release planning and post-deployment validation activities. 
  • Maintain project artifacts, requirements documentation, and testing evidence.

Education & Preferred Qualifications 

  •  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  
  • Relevant experience in business analysis, systems analysis, software testing, or technology delivery.  
  • Experience defining business requirements and creating technical specifications.  
  • Experience supporting large-scale software application projects.  
  • Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance practices. 
  • Experience within financial services, investment management, or capital markets.  
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.

Work Requirement 

  • Onsite 4 days a week in office and one day remote
  • Standard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs(8am to 5pm)

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $167,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.
