About us
Fortiro is a growing fintech with a highly experienced team, backed by significant investment, and giving you the opportunity to contribute to an award-winning enterprise SaaS platform. Our technology uses emerging technologies and AI to help detect financial crime and enable automation in processes like lending and insurance claim verification. It is trusted by leading banks and financial services businesses in Australia, New Zealand, and globally.
About the role
We're looking for a highly versatile Product Manager to drive the user experience, strategic vision, and execution of our platform across our three global regions.
This role exists to be the ultimate champion for the customer and the business. You will focus on translating our complex fraud-detection capabilities into beautiful, intuitive workflows, while managing the delivery schedule to get those features into users' hands.
If you are excited by the challenge of designing elegant solutions to fight financial crime, aligning cross-functional teams, and shaping the future roadmap of a rapidly growing fintech, this is the role for you.
What you'll be doing
- Champion User Experience: Own the end-to-end design process, from requirement discovery and wireframing to user research, translating highly technical backend capabilities into intuitive, seamless workflows.
- Manage Cross-Functional Delivery: Own the delivery for key product capability rollouts across our three distinct regions, managing dependencies between engineering, design, and product marketing to unblock teams.
- Help Shape Long-Term Strategy: Look beyond the current sprint to help shape the product vision, collaborating with stakeholders to define initiatives that will drive our next phase of growth.
- Enforce Design Standards: Lead design discovery sessions and validate that our interfaces solve real user pain points, balancing functional complexity with aesthetic simplicity to delight our end users.
- Help Align the Organisation: Serve as a product liaison across the company to ensure operational & strategic alignment.
What you'll bring to the role
- Design intuition: Proven experience leading UX/UI initiatives for complex SaaS products, turning technical complexity into elegant, simple user interfaces.
- Analytical rigor: Proficiency with data analytics, SQL, and product telemetry tools; you refuse to validate design decisions without looking at the numbers first
- Execution focus: Battle-tested experience managing multi-region product launches. You know how to run pragmatic agile processes, herd cats, manage stakeholders, and hit deadlines.
- Strategic influence: Proven product management experience operating as a strong hands-on contributor who can influence teams, shape a roadmap, and help to support a product-first culture.
- Customer empathy: A deep obsession with understanding the user's workflow and a track record of conducting user research that directly influences product design.
Why join Fortiro?
- Be yourself: We value individuality and encourage you to work in ways that make you most productive.
- Make an impact: Shape and launch capabilities that have a massive impact on the market and directly drive the company's growth.
- Work on cutting-edge solutions: Join a fast-paced team helping enterprises combat financial crime using AI and advanced tech; it's highly rewarding, mission-driven work.
- Inclusive culture: Open, diverse and flexible workplace.
- Grow with us: Unparalleled exposure to the core business engine and the opportunity to help define the product culture at a rapidly scaling SaaS company.
- Long-term focus: We invest in our people and reward performance.
