Indus Action aims to enable over 800 million vulnerable citizens in India to move irreversibly out of extreme poverty by facilitating access to critical government support to which they are entitled. We partner with communities and governments to simplify access to education,livelihoods, healthcare and welfare, using tech and better design to navigate bureaucratic hurdles.

Role Brief
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Executive- Graphic Designer to support Indus Action's communications and outreach efforts through compelling visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have strong graphic design skills, experience creating digital content for social media and reports, and the ability to produce light video edits for campaigns, events, and organisational communications.
This role requires someone who can translate complex ideas into engaging visual assets while maintaining brand consistency across platforms.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Design high-quality visual assets for social media, websites, newsletters, presentations, reports, and campaigns.
● Develop infographics, illustrations, banners, event collateral, and branded communication materials.
● Support the communications team in conceptualising creative campaigns and content.
● Edit short-form videos, reels, event highlights, interviews, and promotional content.
● Ensure consistency of visual identity across all communication channels.
● Maintain and organise multimedia assets and design repositories
Requirements
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
● Adobe InDesign
● Canva (advanced proficiency)
● Adobe Premiere Pro
● Adobe After Effects (basic to intermediate proficiency preferred)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE -
● Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or a related field.
● 6 months to 2 years of professional experience in graphic design and multimedia production.
● Interest or experience working with social impact organizations, nonprofits, development sector organizations, or agencies is preferred.
● Familiarity with social media content formats and platform requirements.
