About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to support our Global Banking Operations (GTO) department.
The Project Manager will act as the main coordinator for people, processes, and timelines, ensuring that projects and initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and achieve their expected outcomes.
You will be the single point of contact for project organisation, coordination and scheduling, working closely with Sponsors, Partners, Contributors and operational teams across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and oversee projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and within budget.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress, milestones, dependencies and key actions.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate project management tools, systems and methodologies.
- Identify, assess and manage project risks, implementing mitigation actions where required.
- Escalate issues, risks and delays to management in a timely and structured manner.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, status reports, meeting minutes and action trackers.
- Conduct organisational and process analyses for the projects and studies under your responsibility.
- Define and lead project governance, ensuring that Sponsors, Partners and Contributors remain informed, engaged and mobilised throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups and decision-making processes across different stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of organisational processes while ensuring that operational and compliance risks are appropriately controlled.
- Support operational teams during organisational changes and the implementation of new processes.
- Promote the sharing of best practices and lessons learned across the organisation.
- Contribute to transversal and strategic projects and support the governance of the GTO.
- Support initiatives involving new technologies, such as Blockchain, RPA/RDA, OCR and Data Analytics, when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Project Management, ideally within a complex, international or corporate environment.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence in a client-facing environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate and engage people at different levels of an organisation.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent ability to synthesise complex information, identify key points and communicate them clearly.
- Autonomous, responsible and proactive approach, with strong perseverance and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Comfortable working with digital and new communication technologies.
- Interest in new technologies and their application to business processes and operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
