Role Overview

As a Research Project Manager I, you will play a crucial role in managing moderately complex research projects from start-up to closeout. You'll collaborate closely with leadership, including Principal Investigators and Senior Bioscientific Staff, to ensure the successful execution of research initiatives. Your work will directly support the advancement of medical research and contribute to impactful discoveries.

What You Will Do

• Manage key aspects of small to moderate research projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of team members working on assigned studies and projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables.
• Work closely with leadership to address challenges and ensure project alignment with organizational objectives.
• Maintain strong customer service and interpersonal skills to foster effective team and stakeholder relationships.

 

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of relevant experience, including at least two (2) years of research experience; OR Master's degree in a related field and six (6) months of research experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams or managing small to moderate-sized projects.
• Strong customer service, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general knowledge of medical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

• CAP-M or PMI Project Management Professional certification or similar.
• Society of Clinical Research Associates or Association of Clinical Research Professionals certification.
