This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager — Folha de Pagamento based in Brazil.
This is an opportunity to lead the evolution of a critical payroll product within a broader HCM ecosystem. You will connect business needs, technology, Brazilian labor and tax regulations, and user experience. The role goes beyond payroll, with a strong focus on creating integrated, end-to-end journeys for HR professionals, managers, and employees. You will own product discovery, roadmap definition, prioritization, requirements, and continuous improvement. The environment is collaborative and cross-functional, with close partnerships across Engineering, Design, Data, Legal, Compliance, and business teams. Your decisions will directly influence product adoption, customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role is well suited to an analytical, autonomous Product Manager who enjoys solving complex problems and building scalable products.

Accountabilities
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on customer impact, business value, user needs, and regulatory risks.
- Lead the evolution of payroll capabilities and their integration with other modules across the HCM ecosystem.
- Develop a systemic understanding of HR journeys and identify opportunities to improve integrations, workflows, and end-to-end experiences.
- Translate Brazilian labor and tax requirements into clear, testable product requirements.
- Create detailed specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other documentation for complex product flows.
- Conduct continuous product discovery with customers and users to identify pain points, validate solutions, and uncover new opportunities.
- Monitor product metrics, adoption, errors, support tickets, and experience indicators to guide product decisions.
- Use data and evidence to support prioritization, roadmap decisions, and continuous product improvement.
- Work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Legal, Compliance, Support, Customer Success, and business teams.
- Manage cross-product dependencies and ensure products remain aligned with regulatory changes.
- Communicate product decisions, risks, priorities, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Support Support and Customer Success teams in resolving complex product-related issues.
- Contribute to the development of integrated product experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Product Manager, preferably in B2B SaaS, HRTech, ERP, fintech, or other complex technology environments.
- Proven experience defining, managing, and prioritizing product roadmaps.
- Strong systemic product thinking, with the ability to understand complex user journeys and integrations across multiple modules.
- Experience with product discovery, requirements definition, validation, and continuous product evolution.
- Ability to create specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for complex workflows and functionalities.
- Familiarity with Brazilian labor and tax legislation, or demonstrated ability and willingness to quickly develop expertise in this domain.
- Good analytical skills, including basic SQL knowledge and/or experience with business intelligence tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working closely with Engineering, Design, and Data teams in agile environments.
- Strong autonomy, prioritization, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills in high-complexity environments.
- Experience with HCM, HRTech, or HR management products is a strong advantage.
- Experience with payroll and personnel administration processes is desirable.
- Knowledge of eSocial, INSS, IRRF, FGTS, and collective bargaining agreements is a plus.
- Familiarity with HR modules such as Core HR, hiring/onboarding, time tracking, benefits, vacation, and termination is valuable.
- Experience integrating products with accounting systems or ERPs is desirable.
- Experience working with high-criticality or regulated products and environments is advantageous.
- Experience with multi-module products, complex integrations, and end-to-end product journeys is a plus.
