Sr. Product Manager Job Responsibilities:
Develops products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements and customer specifications, business case development, and time-integrated plans for product introduction.
Sr. Product Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Development
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities through market research and customer insights.
- Define product requirements, specifications, and go-to-market strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to bring new accessories to market, including design, sourcing, and manufacturing.
- Market & Competitive Analysis
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to inform product positioning and differentiation.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Finance to develop business cases, pricing strategies, and promotional plans.
- Customer Engagement
- Partner with Sales to gather feedback from dealers, distributors, and end-users.
- Participate in customer visits and trade shows to understand needs and showcase new products.
- Operational Execution
- Work with Sourcing, Operations and Marketing to ensure optimal sourcing selection and packaging designs are implemented for each new product
- Prepare product forecasts, ROI analyses, and performance reports for leadership.
- Travel:
- Must be willing to travel 15% of time.
Product Manager Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in automotive or recreational vehicle accessories.
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C customer segments.
- Experience with product development, pricing strategy, and inventory control.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 15% for customer visits, supplier meetings, and industry events.
