IT Data Analyst

About the Role

Diodes is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Management Decision Systems and Supply Chain team in our Taipei office. As a member of the Global IT team you will have the opportunity to work with our planning and sales teams on metrics, projects and several key operation systems. The position would be reporting to the Director of Decision making systems and supply chain.

What You’ll Do

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

• Execute end-to-end analysis: Perform data analysis for special projects and routine activities, moving from raw data to actionable insights that directly influence management decisions.
• Predictive Modeling: Contribute to machine learning modeling (supervised and unsupervised) and develop advanced prototypes to solve complex enterprise problems.
• Statistical Application: Apply advanced mathematical and statistical skills to analyze operational performance and identify trends or anomalies.

Reporting & Visualization

• Build Dashboards: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using curated data in the big data lake warehouse solution to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Automation: Streamline and automate data gathering and reporting methodologies to replace manual processes and increase efficiency.
• Executive Presentation: Present your findings and analysis results clearly to the leadership team, explaining the "why" behind the data.

System & Strategic Support

• Query Operations: Directly query data warehouses using SQL-like languages to extract the necessary information for projects.
• Supply Chain Transformation: Support the broader strategy of digital transformation within the supply chain by working with global planning and sales

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience with software development (R, Python, Java), data wrangling/munging (SQL), data analytics workflows (Jupyter Notebook), machine learning, and data visualization (Tableau).
• Experience in machine learning (supervised and unsupervised), mathematics, statistics, computer applications, software engineering, and networking.
• Ability to query data sources directly using SQL-like query languages from data warehouse.
• Ability to develop dashboards using curated data
• Understand Business vision and ability to support strategy and business teams.
• Passion for developing efficient, testable and scalable analytics algorithms.
• Familiar with big data analytics tools and distributed systems a plus
• Ability to contribute to machine learning modeling and design and develop advanced prototypes. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and a professional environment.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies a plus. (Databricks, Snowflake)
• Experience in developing data science/AI models a plus
• Experience in Oracle ERP, Sales, Manufacturing and supply chain data a plus
