Progressive Leasing is a leading provider of in-store and e-commerce lease-to-own solutions. As an almost 20+ year old FinTech company that has gone from start-up to industry leader, we know how to innovate, simplify, and value all people. We are a company founded on our grit and we are constantly looking to the future. As an ever-evolving group of entrepreneurs and technologists, we strive to do the right thing period in all aspects of our work. We are a subsidiary of PROG Holdings (NYSE: PRG), an exciting FinTech holding company, with three business segments including Progressive, Purchasing Power, and Four, a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) platform.
We are currently hiring a Senior Product Manager to help grow our company and ensure our mission is achieved! This is a remote-first role that can be performed from anywhere in the continental US or from one of our corporate offices in Utah or Arizona. As a key member of our product organization, you will own the roadmap for data enablement, customer communications, and eMarketing platforms — building the infrastructure that powers marketing, lifecycle, and customer experience at scale.
Employee Value Proposition (EVP): PROG is dedicated to providing people with opportunity; opportunity for inclusive collaboration, opportunity for innovation, and opportunity for development.
WE ARE: Prog Tech embodies the modernity and transformational vision that is core to our business evolution. As passionate and hungry technical experts, we join together on the mission of progressing through technology. We believe in taking pride in our engineering, in the relentless pursuit of daily progress, and to bring others with you in your march to the future. We continuously experiment, fail fast, and constantly deliver.
YOU ARE: A highly skilled technical product manager with a background in data enablement, marketing technology, and customer communications platforms. You have a passion for using data to solve problems: not just analyzing it but building the products and infrastructure that make data actionable for marketing, lifecycle, and customer experience teams. You are a systems thinker who gets excited about making data actionable, communications intelligent, and lifecycle programs run at scale — building the infrastructure that makes the whole machine work. You bring strong foundational product management skills, operate with urgency and ownership, and are a natural communicator who can align engineers, stakeholders, and business partners around a shared roadmap.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Own the roadmap for data enablement, customer communications platforms, and eMarketing tooling across marketing needs, lifecycle functions, and emerging conversion use cases
- Build and evolve lifecycle journeys that personalize at scale — from first-touch communications through re-engagement and retention — adjusting as new programs (lease protect, post-checkout offers, affiliate) come online
- Translate complex data needs from marketing and business partners into clear product requirements that engineering can build against
- Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to identify gaps in data availability, data quality, and segmentation capability and convert those gaps into backlog items
- Define use cases, features, requirements, and acceptance criteria for communications platforms including notifications, content management, and campaign tooling
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that span marketing, technology, and lifecycle teams, bringing structure to ambiguous problems and driving alignment across stakeholders
- Establish voice-of-customer feedback loops — surfacing consumer insights from communications performance, support signals, and behavioral data back into the product and roadmap
- Operate as an AI-first product builder: leverage AI agents, automations, and workflow tooling as first-class workers in lifecycle and communications processes, not just as productivity aids
- Use sound judgment to assess risks and produce well-structured, data-informed written narratives for leadership
- Analyze product and platform performance and establish metrics that reflect both technical health and business value
- Manage vendor relationships where third-party platforms such as communications vendors and CMS tools are core to the product surface
- Maintain strong communication channels across marketing, engineering, and operations, translating strategy into execution and keeping stakeholders informed on timelines, blockers, and outcomes
YOU'LL BRING:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in software Product Management
- Demonstrated experience owning data products or data enablement initiatives, with an understanding of how data flows, how it is consumed, and how to make it more useful to business stakeholders
- Experience with marketing technology platforms including customer communications, CMS, campaign management, or notification systems — and direct hands-on fluency with lifecycle and analytics tooling (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Amplitude, or equivalents); you've used these platforms to define requirements and govern outcomes, not just observed them from a distance
- Demonstrated comfort building with AI-native tools and workflows — not just using AI for productivity, but designing processes where AI agents, automations, and LLM-assisted operations are part of how the product surface functions
- Ability to move fluently between high-level strategy and detailed execution, equally comfortable writing a one-pager for leadership and an acceptance criterion for engineering
- Exceptional communication skills: listening, writing, presenting, and collaborating across technical and non-technical audiences
- High integrity and the ambition to relentlessly pursue the best possible product
- Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, self-direct, and stay flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- AI-enabled tools are already part of how work gets done across our organization, and their use will continue to expand over time. We value people who are curious, adaptable, and open to learning as roles and workflows evolve
YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:
- Experience with lifecycle communications or customer journey tooling
- Familiarity with chat platforms, conversational AI, or digital servicing products
- Background in FinTech or financial services
- Experience working with or alongside data engineering or analytics teams
- Mobile and web-based product experience
WE OFFER:
- Competitive Compensation
- Full Health Benefits; Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance + Paid Parental Leave
- Company Matched 401k
- Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays + Paid Volunteer Time
- Diversity Alliance Resource Groups
- Employee Stock Purchase Program
- Tuition Reimbursement
- Charitable Gift Matching
- Job Required Equipment & Services Will Be Provided
