Specialising in the integration of highly personalised tech, our suite of products and services gives businesses fully customisable and off-the-shelf solutions, they control.
Since 2001 we’ve worked with hundreds of organisations to build integrated websites, CRMs, and bespoke software and have now consolidated our expertise into flourishing products such as ReadyMembership (https://readymembership.com/), ReadyIntelligence (https://readyintelligence.com/) and EventFolio (https://www.eventfolio.com/) , based on our open-source Preside Platform (https://preside.org).
Pixl8 has a global team of specialists in digital development, design, marketing strategy and project management. We are passionate about our work and looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of our most complex, high-value or highest-risk client projects. In this role, you will ensure every project is executed to the highest standard, balancing quality with efficiency to drive success for our clients.
It is important that you have worked in other technology product organisations with practical experience of pre-sales, discovery and implementation processes. You will be familiar with a range of technologies including CMS, CRM, payments, accounting, event booking, email marketing and communities.
DescriptionAs Senior Project Manager, you will be accountable for project profitability and managing project health across a portfolio of complex, high-value or higher-risk client projects. Collaborating with your Lane Lead, you will take ownership of risk and compliance management, lead potentially challenging stakeholder and commercial conversations, and have a hand in mentoring and supporting Project Managers to raise standards across the wider team. You will have a strong interest in solving business and digital challenges, as well as use and develop your skills in a supportive, friendly and flexible environment.
You will be very comfortable with a range of technologies including CMS, CRM, payments, accounting, event booking and communities, with a strong working knowledge of how such platforms work. Your increasing knowledge of our platform will aid your ability to problem solve at pace, helping close down complex client queries and JIRA tickets, and drive client readiness to help us hit our go live deadlines.
As a Senior Project Manager your core accountabilities are as follows:
- Ownership and on-going management of complex, multi-phase or multi-stakeholder project schedules (with influence over cross-project resourcing, timelines, dependencies, priorities, and capacity decisions)
- Commercial ownership of budgets within your allocated portfolio (invoicing, budget tracking/health, CRs/Contingency governance, SOW/contract creation and negotiation)
- Ownership of project and stakeholder communications (status awareness and leading complex or sensitive client conversations and escalations)
- Ownership of risk and compliance management, including designing mitigation strategies, ensuring alignment with Pixl8's ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 requirements, and reporting risk exposure to internal leadership
You will be highly self-motivated, have a strong commercial mindset, sound judgement under pressure, and be confident operating with significant autonomy and little supervision.
The roleAs Senior Project Manager you will take ownership of developing project and programme plans primarily for our more complex or higher-value engagements, and will regularly coordinate with the Lane Lead, Consultants, the Tech Lead and other developers to deliver successful outcomes.
Working closely with some great organisations, you will lead them through the full project lifecycle (from scheduling discovery and gap analysis against Pixl8's product suite through to project delivery), often managing several concurrent workstreams or stakeholder groups.
This involves taking ownership for ensuring projects are delivered on spec, time and budget and meet Pixl8's high quality standards, all the while keeping client stakeholders informed and managing expectations, even under pressure.
Alongside your own portfolio, you may be required to mentor and support Project Managers, helping them prioritise, schedule, unblock and problem-solve, and act as the first point of escalation for complex delivery or client issues.
