We are looking for a
Senior Business Development Project Manager (Downstream M&A focus)
This role offers the chance to work on high‑impact strategic projects that directly shape Downstream’s future. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders and the Group M&A team, gain deep insight into markets and potential acquisitions, and drive projects end‑to‑end - from idea generation to post‑deal value creation. It’s a visible, influential position where your analytical strength and project leadership translate into real business results!
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Collect and analyze market, industry and company data to spot new inorganic growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making
- Manage E2E buy-and sell-side activities, including post-merger-integration
- Prepare clear, decision-ready proposals and presentations for senior leaders
- Buils and coordinate detailed project plans, ensuring smooth execution and alignment across all involved teams
- Oversee project implementation, track risks, propose solutions and ensure resources are used effectively
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance and evaluate project outcomes to capture lessons learned and synergies
Requirements from our side:
- University degree in technical or economics
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Confident and proven practical knowledge in technical organic/inorganic project management in the Downstream, Energy or Sustainable businesses
- Advanced English knowledge is a must
- E2E project management
- Comprehensive industry and business understanding
- Enterprise evaluation knowledge and solid financial and legal knowledge
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling
- Willingness to travel
