We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer capable of designing advanced reports and supporting an internal team in upskilling on business intelligence tools.
Mission:
Within an international financial organization, you will work as a senior developer on strategic reporting and automation projects. Your primary role will be to automate a critical production report, replacing manual Excel processes with robust, industrialized solutions based on Power BI, in direct connection with the client's Data Warehouse environment.
You will be responsible for designing and developing advanced Power BI reports, leveraging strong DAX skills to model complex indicators and ensure optimal performance. You will also contribute to the automation of recurring tasks, including the retrieval and transformation of data from the Data Warehouse, in order to improve the reliability and speed of analytical deliverable production.
Beyond the technical dimension, you will play a key role as a team reference by actively participating in knowledge transfer, supporting junior developers, and structuring Power BI best practices within the department. Your ability to combine technical expertise with a mentoring mindset will be essential to the success of this mission.
Technical Environment:
Must have:
- Proven experience in Power BI development (senior level)
- Advanced proficiency in DAX for modeling complex measures and KPIs
- Experience in report automation and replacement of manual processes
- Good knowledge of Data Warehouse environments and data extraction practices
- Experience in automating Excel tasks and integrating with structured data sources
- Ability to coach and train an internal team on Power BI best practices
Nice to have:
- Experience in the financial sector or regulated environments
- Knowledge of Power Query (M) for data transformation
- Familiarity with orchestration or workflow automation tools such as Power Automate
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle or equivalent)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices applied to reporting (Git, version control)
