Job Overview

Our client is looking for an Automation Test Lab Support Engineer to support and troubleshoot hardware and software used for automotive cockpit systems validation in a test lab environment.

The role will focus on maintaining lab readiness and providing hands-on technical support for validation activities involving infotainment systems, instrument clusters, Head-Up Displays (HUD), and other automotive cockpit systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support for

automotive test lab hardware and software.

  • Troubleshoot issues affecting lab

equipment and validation environments.

  • Support validation activities for

automotive cockpit systems.

  • Assist with testing of:
  • Infotainment systems
  • Instrument clusters
  • Head-Up Displays (HUD)
  • Other cockpit electronic systems
  • Diagnose hardware and software

issues and work toward timely resolution.

  • Maintain test lab equipment and

ensure systems are available for validation activities.

  • Support engineers and validation

teams with lab setup and troubleshooting.

  • Investigate recurring lab issues

and assist with root cause identification.

  • Document issues, troubleshooting

steps, and resolutions.

  • Collaborate with engineering and

validation teams to maintain a reliable test environment.

Required Skills

  • Experience supporting and

troubleshooting hardware and software in a test lab environment.

  • Experience with automotive systems

validation is highly preferred.

  • Understanding of automotive cockpit

systems and validation environments.

  • Strong troubleshooting and

problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work hands-on with

hardware and software components.
