About the Opportunity As Ventia continues to build capability across the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA), we are expanding our project delivery leadership team and seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the continued growth and success of the contract.

Ventia proudly delivers AGFMA for the Government of South Australia, managing a diverse portfolio of projects across critical community and government assets. In this role, you will lead a team of Project Managers and oversee multiple projects ranging from minor works through to large, complex initiatives across a wide variety of sites.

This opportunity will suit a Senior Project Manager who enjoys not only delivering high quality outcomes but also contributing to the ongoing development and maturity of a long-term government contract. You will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, leading a team of Project Management professionals, shaping high quality project delivery standards, and supporting sustainable portfolio growth.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Adelaide, offering exposure to meaningful projects that deliver essential services and infrastructure upgrades across South Australia.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Project Managers across a varied project portfolio.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and manage escalations effectively.
  • Collaborate with Project and Asset teams to monitor technical performance and productivity.
  • Oversee project planning, scope control, scheduling, assurance processes and financial governance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in project management, construction, engineering, quantity surveying or a related discipline preferred, with relevant trade experience also considered.
  • Demonstrated senior level project management experience, including people leadership (highly regarded).
  • Strong working knowledge of project management systems and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to manage complex programs and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience in facilities management or infrastructure environments (highly regarded).
