Job Description

GET TO KNOW THE TEAM

Grab’s Geo and IoT team builds the location capabilities behind our services. Our Physical AI initiative is building a platform for embodied and egocentric AI training data across Southeast Asia, connecting labs that need high-quality data with people who collect it in the field.

GET TO KNOW THE ROLE

You will own this platform from pilot to scale. As a senior individual contributor, you will shape the product and business strategy, build a trusted collector experience, and turn partner requirements into reliable, compliant data delivery. You will work closely with Operations, Partnerships, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, and Data Privacy, including teams on the ground across the region. This role is based onsite in Singapore.

THE CRITICAL TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM

  • Set the platform strategy across lab demand, field collection, and data curation; define partner priorities, build-versus-partner choices, pricing, incentives, and unit economics.
  • Work with AI labs and Partnerships to translate training needs into dataset specifications, quality criteria, delivery timelines, and service commitments.
  • Own the collector experience, including field tooling, clear instructions, incentives, and reliable payments to ensure supply is productive and sustainable.
  • Prioritize the platform for collection, annotation, labeling, quality assurance, and delivery. Partner with Engineering and Data Science to turn model feedback into improved data and workflows; leverage AI tools where they enhance research and execution.
  • Build a roadmap with clear milestones and trade-offs. Work with Operations and country teams to assess field readiness, visit sites, resolve risks early, and scale successful pilots.
  • Partner with Legal, Data Privacy, Procurement, and country stakeholders to address consent, site and vendor terms, data handling, and cross-border delivery prior to scaling collection.

Qualifications

WHAT ESSENTIAL SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

  • At least 4 years of experience in product management or equivalent impact, with ownership of a significant product from ambiguous opportunity through launch and iteration.
  • Experience shipping an AI-native product where AI is central to the value proposition, alongside fluency in training data, evaluation, and feedback loops.
  • Experience building a multi-sided platform that connects customer demand, field operations, data quality, and end-user experience.
  • Commercial judgment in partner prioritization, pricing, incentives, and unit economics, with the ability to turn strategy into actionable product decisions.
  • Ability to write clear product requirements and evaluate trade-offs across technical, operational, quality, cost, and time constraints.
  • Experience working across Engineering, Data Science, commercial, and operations teams, including privacy and legal specialists, to deliver a product responsibly.

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Experience in embodied AI, robotics, world models, egocentric or geospatial data, or sensor-based collection.
  • Experience with AI-lab partnerships, annotation workflows, or large-scale multi-country field operations.
