Full description

About the role

As part of the Operations team, you'll manage the end-to-end product process for Rhythm's newest offerings — starting with our Battery Program and expanding to additional programs as we continue to launch new products. You'll own the process from installer assignment through system activation, build and manage relationships with installation partners, equipment manufacturers, utilities, and local permitting authorities, and monitor the health and performance of an active fleet to make sure systems are online and operating as expected. This is an opportunity to bring strong program management and operational skills to a role with real ownership over process, partners, and performance from day one — and there will be opportunities to speak directly with customers and help resolve issues as they arise. You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Program, and vendor partners, acting as a connective thread across teams to keep operations running smoothly as we grow.

What you'll do

  • Own and manage the end-to-end product process for Rhythm's programs, starting with the Battery Program and expanding to future product launches
  • Manage the installer process from assignment through Permission to Operate (PTO), overseeing installation partners as we scale
  • Manage system enrollment into Kinergy, our battery management platform, collaborating with battery equipment manufacturers as needed
  • Build and manage relationships with utility partners and local permitting authorities to help speed up permit approvals
  • Manage the relationship with our equipment distributor to ensure equipment is paid for ahead of requested delivery, coordinating closely with installation partners
  • Monitor fleet health and status to ensure systems are online and operating as expected, partnering with equipment manufacturers and installers to quickly resolve issues when they arise
  • Monitor battery scheduling within Kinergy to ensure systems are operating consistently with the strategy set by our VPP and Portfolio teams
  • Support Demand Response reporting, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and delivered on time
  • Provide data and reporting to support sales efforts
  • Collect and share key performance indicators across the program.

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of program, vendor, or partner management experience
  • Experience with the Texas retail energy market
  • Experience working with distributed energy resources — such as batteries, generators, EVs, or other demand response technologies
  • Strong communication skills, with the professional maturity to work seamlessly across teams and partners
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and an ownership mindset in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Training experience
  • AI experience
  • Experience with permitting, interconnection, or utility approval processes

What you'll love

  • Our culture. We're friendly, transparent, and love to innovate together.
  • Flexible work-life balance. We embrace the mix of working remote and from the office.
  • Professional development opportunities. We love to grow together.
  • A chance to make a difference. We're a sustainably driven company rethinking what's possible in Energy.
  • Competitive compensation. We reward performance with annual bonuses and salary increases.
  • Health Benefits. We promote your wellbeing with unlimited paid vacation and premium private medical insurance for you and your family.
