How you will contribute

• Ensure the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures related to network and telecommunications administration in order to maintain the integrity and availability of these systems and their supporting IT applications;

• Develop communication architectures and ensure the design and optimization of network configurations in accordance with the functional specifications of the Bank's IT systems and emerging market technologies;

• Provide advanced technical support for the administration and maintenance of the Bank's network and telecommunications systems (WAN, LAN, MAN, Internet, Intranet, Extranet, etc.) and other communication devices. Manage and plan network and telecommunications resources, including performance, capacity, scalability, availability, and integrity management;

• Ensure advanced administration of the Bank's network and telecommunications systems, including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and acceptance testing, to meet performance and availability requirements. Participate in the planning, development, administration, and operation of communication system architectures, including performance, capacity, scalability, and accessibility management;

• Administer systems that manage controlled access to network equipment (Cisco ACS), including granting administrative access rights to network devices and configuring appropriate access control levels for each user;

• Install, monitor, and maintain network equipment, applications, and operating systems while preserving their consistency, security, and integrity. Participate in the installation of telecommunications equipment, servers, and related infrastructure, providing advanced technical support for the maintenance of all hardware and software components of the Bank's telecommunications systems. Monitor and improve network equipment performance indicators and implement corrective actions. Respond to and resolve network access and telecommunications performance issues;

• Supervise and participate in the preparation of telecommunications systems documentation, including hardware and software configuration information and network connection details. Ensure that all network topologies, including architecture, technology, encryption, and logical and physical access controls, comply with BCR security standards and policies;

• Develop technical standards, procedures, and working guidelines to ensure agreed service levels. Identify, evaluate, and recommend new products and technical solutions for the development of the telecommunications network and the remediation of deficiencies. Participates in the definition, implementation, and continuous updating of procedures and protocols applicable to data transmission in order to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and proper equipment operation, while supporting technological progress and business requirements. Contributes to system risk analyses, cost evaluations, and backup strategy assessments for telecommunications systems;

• Report to the Office and Department Management any deviations from agreed service levels specific to the Networks and Telecommunications Office, as well as any issues encountered.

What will help you be successful

• Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience;

• Minimum 3 years of experience in network and telecommunications administration;

• Minimum 2 years of banking industry experience;

• Good understanding of banking operations and the legal and internal regulations applicable to the area of activity;

• Advanced technical knowledge in network and telecommunications administration;

• Knowledge of network and telecommunications design principles;

• Knowledge of control and monitoring techniques;

• Understanding of the banking market;

• English language proficiency at an advanced level.
