Job Description

QA Automation Engineer – Guidewire PolicyCenter

Candidates must be willing to work onsite from Day 1 at one of the following USAA locations:

  • San Antonio, TX
  • Plano, TX
  • Phoenix, AZ

 

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Guidewire PolicyCenter and modern test automation practices. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in automation testing, AI-assisted test development, and be willing to work onsite from Day 1.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Strong experience in Playwright automation testing.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude to design, automate, and optimize test scenarios.
  • Excellent understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, test execution, and defect management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools such as Copilot and Claude to accelerate test case creation and automation efforts.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure application quality and successful project delivery.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
  • Note: Only candidates meeting the Guidewire PolicyCenter, Playwright, and onsite work requirements will be considered.
