Description
We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects from design to final delivery. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of each project lifecycle, ensuring that schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met or exceeded. The Project Manager will report directly and exclusively to the assigned Mentor, serving as the central point of accountability for all project-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle for construction projects—from initial design coordination to final delivery and closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, reporting only to the designated Mentor.
- Lead and manage all types of construction projects, including design-build, renovations, vertical and horizontal construction, and specialized infrastructure projects.
- Proactively communicate with customers, providing weekly progress updates and ensuring meeting minutes are shared with all stakeholders after each meeting.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of each assigned project—more than the customer—to anticipate challenges and resolve issues before they impact delivery.
- Track and manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractor performance, risk mitigation, and quality control processes.
- Ensure early identification and resolution of delays, scope changes, and other risks, with a strong commitment to completing projects ahead of schedule.
- Work collaboratively with design teams, field personnel, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality execution and adherence to specifications.
- Support the preparation of documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and final close-out packages.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project management, in commercial construction, is REQUIRED.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
- Highly organized with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with construction documentation, permitting, scheduling tools, and project management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Must be willing to travel and attend site meetings as required.
