Senior QA – SAP experience

Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and execute quality assurance and testing activities across SAP solutions and business processes.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

• Design, document, execute, and maintain functional and integration test cases.

• Perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

• Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

• Collaborate closely with development teams, business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Support the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.

• Contribute to the adoption and use of AI-driven tools and approaches to improve testing efficiency, quality, and automation.

• Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of automated test solutions.

• Ensure testing activities are aligned with project objectives, quality standards, and business requirements.

• Take ownership of assigned activities, proactively identify risks and issues, and contribute to their resolution.

Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar areas.

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing roles.

• Solid professional experience in SAP environments.

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.

• ISTQB certification is mandatory.

• Experience with SAP testing, including functional and integration testing.

• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.

• Experience with test automation is highly valued.

• Interest or experience in using AI tools and technologies to support QA and testing activities is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• High level of autonomy, accountability, initiative, and proactivity.

• Strong commitment to delivery quality and continuous improvement.

• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and collaborative environments.

• Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).

• Availability to work in a hybrid regime in Lisbon.
