Network Engineer- CCNA

DescriptionWe are seeking a Network Engineer to provide advanced engineering support for the organization's global Data, Voice, Security, and Wireless networks. This role will have a primary focus on VoIP and Unified Communications technologies, ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical communication platforms.The ideal candidate will be responsible for network monitoring, incident management, system upgrades, engineering changes, and new deployments while collaborating with Network Operations Center (NOC) personnel, internal IT teams, suppliers, and third-party vendors. This individual will serve as a technical escalation point for complex network and voice-related issues and play a key role in maintaining operational excellence across a global enterprise environment.Skillsccna, ccnp, noc, network monitoring, network operations center, troubleshooting, hardware, infrastructure, network operations, switching protocols, firewalls, ICETop Skills Detailsccna,ccnp,noc,network monitoring,network operations center,troubleshooting,hardware,infrastructure,network operations,switching protocols,firewalls,ICEAdditional Skills & QualificationsNetwork Monitoring & Incident ManagementProvide advanced support for global Data, Voice, Security, and Wireless networking systems, with an emphasis on VoIP and Unified Communications platforms.Monitor and respond to alerts and alarms across critical enterprise network systems.Lead high-priority outage bridges, coordinating internal teams, suppliers, and external vendors while keeping leadership informed of progress and resolution efforts.Act as an escalation resource for the Help Desk and NOC teams.Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice and network-related incidents.Partner with broader IT teams to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.Operations & EngineeringPlan, implement, and support engineering changes across enterprise network and voice environments.Manage deployments, upgrades, and ongoing support for Unified Communications and Contact Center technologies.Develop and maintain operational procedures, standards, and documentation for support teams.Ensure all incidents, requests, and engineering activities are properly tracked and documented within ticketing systems.Create and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across networking and telecommunications technologies.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service reliability.Maintain awareness of emerging networking, collaboration, and communication technologies.Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $41.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
