Here, you’ll be part of the team, empowered to explore more, experience more and supported by your leader to grow and develop.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Property Design & Development team at Crown Sydney. Supporting a portfolio of new build, fit-out and refurbishment projects, you’ll work alongside experienced project leaders across the full project lifecycle. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop your project management capability while gaining exposure to design, procurement, commercial management and construction delivery within a complex, live operational environment.

What You'll Do

  • Support the end-to-end delivery of multiple capital projects, helping manage project scope, program, cost, quality and key delivery milestones.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project programs covering design deliverables, procurement milestones, contractor lead times and construction phasing.
  • Support procurement activities including the preparation of RFPs and RFTs, contractor and supplier engagement, tender documentation and project administration.
  • Assist with contract administration, commercial and change management processes, including supporting the Project Management team with Superintendent responsibilities.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants and suppliers, including project documentation, shop drawings, submissions, site meetings and actions required to maintain delivery programs.
  • Prepare project reporting and stakeholder documentation while supporting compliance with quality, safety and project governance requirements.

What You'll Bring

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience within the building or construction industry, ideally gained across project management, contract administration or construction delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of multiple construction, fit-out, refurbishment or capital works projects within defined program and budget requirements.
  • Practical knowledge of construction methodologies, contractor and subcontractor management, project administration and the different stages of the construction lifecycle.
  • Strong planning and organisational capability, with the ability to coordinate competing priorities, project milestones and multiple stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively with project managers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence using project management systems and software, with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction or Project Management preferred but not essential
