We are seeking a Project Manager to deliver agreed IT projects on time, within scope and within budget, with a clear plan, controlled change, measured performance and an escalation path when delivery is at risk.

The Project Manager plans, coordinates and delivers information technology projects across a mix of corporate systems and clinical systems. The role owns scope, schedule, budget, resources and stakeholder communication, and leads delivery through internal teams, third parties and vendors.

Requirements

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties or vendors so projects are executed as planned.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives with the relevant stakeholders, and confirm technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resources are available and allocated.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and cost.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Mitigate constraints and remove bottlenecks through risk analysis.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans and manage and monitor key information technology projects.
  • Lead and oversee a team of professionals.
  • Present at board level, including to CXO and CTO audiences.
  • Apply business-development experience where it supports delivery and stakeholder outcomes.
  • Lead delivery of IT technologies, including large-scale Microsoft and Oracle solutions.
  • Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Apply Scrum and Agile methods where the delivery approach requires them.
  • Account for the different controls, stakeholders and operational impact of corporate systems and clinical systems.

Minimum qualifications and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager.
  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical certification in project management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience developing a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Experience in Scrum and Agile-related methodologies.
  • Experience measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
