Job Description:

Your Impact:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager on a large, world class Surveillance radar programme. 

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to support the Senior Project Manager and/or Programme Manager by leading an IPT to successfully deliver Seaspray Customer Projects

Main objectives of the role are to ensure Customer satisfaction, minimise business risk, manage the day-to-day activities of the wider IPT and maintain project costs/schedule within approved budgets.

What you will do as a Project Manager

  • Full financial responsibility and reporting (to Senior Project Manager/Programme Manager) for assigned Customer Projects
  • Lead the IPT on day-to-day activities.
  • Monitor accuracy of resource management and coordinate with planning to maintain accurate SAP plans.
  • Work with the Planning function to ensure the accuracy of the forward load and milestones within SAP.
  • Support Lifecycle Management framework that governs the operation of the IPT.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the preparation of Customer reviews and internal project reviews.
  • Complete risk and opportunity studies using Leonardo risk processes to project risk exposure
  • Support production FRACAS and MRB process

What you'll bring:

  • First and foremost we’re looking for drive, enthusiasm and an ability to multi-task
  • Proficient on SAP - experience of planning and project management elements useful.
  • Breadth of understanding in all parts of lifecycle and experience in some stages.
  • Basic knowledge and experience of Project Management practices

Experience in developing and maintaining internal/external Customer and Supplier relationships

  • Evidence of ability to work independently.
  • Good financial acumen
  • Good organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with ability to influence decision making
  • Adept at managing conflicts within IPT
  • As part of this role you may travel to supplier and customer locations, as required by the business with some international travel expected

The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.
