Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our US-based client's technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java application development, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and database technologies. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Develop efficient, reusable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL-based data operations.
  • Participate in application design, code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production support.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
  • Use Git and CI/CD tools to support application development and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize application performance.
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 or later.
  • Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
  • Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and ORM concepts.
  • Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
