About the Job:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Tester – Website and Mobile Application to ensure the quality, functionality, usability, and visual consistency of client website and mobile application.

In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end testing, validating new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and existing user journeys across different devices, browsers, and screen sizes. Beyond following test cases and documented requirements, you are expected to think critically, anticipate potential issues, identify edge cases, and evaluate the overall user experience.

You will work closely with the Digital X (DX) Team Lead and development team to identify defects, verify fixes, and help ensure that every release meets established quality standards. The ideal candidate is an independent problem-solver who demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a strong sense of accountability for delivering reliable, high-quality digital experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct End-to-End Testing: Independently test new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and complete user journeys across client’s website and mobile application.
  • Identify and Investigate Defects: Go beyond documented requirements to uncover edge cases, unexpected behavior, broken functionality, and potential issues before they reach end users.
  • Validate UI/UX and Design Accuracy: Compare implemented pages and components against Figma designs, checking colors, typography, spacing, alignment, image quality, and overall visual consistency.
  • Perform Responsive and Cross-Browser Testing: Verify website functionality and appearance across desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes, as well as supported browsers and devices.
  • Test Core Website and App Functionality: Validate navigation, forms, filters, buttons, interactive elements, data handling, error messages, and other critical user interactions.
  • Assess Performance and Usability: Identify slow-loading pages, blurry or improperly displayed images, broken links, inconsistent layouts, and other issues that may affect user experience.
  • Execute Regression Testing: Retest existing functionality after code changes, bug fixes, and enhancements to ensure that previously working features remain stable.
  • Document and Track Bugs: Create clear, reproducible bug reports in Jira, including steps to reproduce, expected versus actual results, screenshots or screen recordings, and relevant device or browser details.
  • Verify Fixes and Support Releases: Retest resolved defects, monitor outstanding issues, communicate testing results, and provide clear recommendations regarding release readiness.
  • Collaborate and Clarify Requirements: Work closely with the DX Team Lead and developers, proactively raise questions, clarify requirements, and communicate potential risks or quality concerns.
  • Maintain Testing Documentation: Keep test cases, checklists, regression scenarios, and defect records organized and updated to support consistent testing practices.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2–4 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Software Testing, with hands-on experience testing responsive websites and mobile applications.
  • A solid understanding of manual testing methodologies, test case execution, defect reporting, regression testing, and end-to-end testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify visual inconsistencies, functional defects, usability issues, and edge cases that may be overlooked by others.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritize testing activities, and take ownership of assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and think critically beyond documented requirements.
  • Familiarity with Figma for validating UI/UX designs and Jira for bug tracking, issue management, and collaboration with development teams.
  • Working knowledge of browser developer tools for inspecting page elements, troubleshooting layout issues, and investigating browser-related defects.
  • Experience performing responsive and cross-browser testing across different devices, browsers, and screen resolutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting reproducible defects and communicating findings to developers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills, patience, and follow-through in ensuring that reported issues are properly addressed and verified.
  • A collaborative mindset, initiative, and willingness to ask questions, clarify requirements, and continuously improve testing practices.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser console logs, and network requests.
  • Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android devices.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies and software development release workflows.

What we have to offer:

  • A company culture based on our purpose to bring out the untapped potential, creativity, and success in people, partnerships, and brands.
