Full description

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for SQL Server database design, development, testing and performance tuning.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS for data extraction, transformation and loading.
  • Develop complex SQL scripts, including stored procedures, functions and triggers.
  • Optimize existing SQL logic to improve query performance and system stability.
  • Conduct data requirement analysis and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Perform data modelling, development and implementation.
  • Support system deployment and go-live activities.
  • Communicate with business teams and overseas teams to ensure accurate delivery of technical requirements.
  • Participate in data warehouse and BI-related projects where required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of SQL Server development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS and ETL development.
  • Strong ability to write and optimize complex SQL logic.
  • Experience with stored procedures, functions and triggers.
  • Experience in data warehouse or BI projects is preferred.
  • Experience participating in at least 2 complete data-related projects.
  • Strong data analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in Chinese and English.
  • Able to conduct basic technical communication in English.
  • Strong sense of responsibility with good teamwork and communication skills.
