Lead Delivery Manager

We are looking for a Lead Delivery Manager to join our Delivery Management team in Belgrade and play a key role in delivering strategic initiatives across Clarivate's Brand Portfolio. 

In this role, you will lead the delivery of multiple product development initiatives, partnering with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders and stakeholders across the organization to transform strategy into measurable business outcomes. You will operate at the intersection of product, technology and delivery, ensuring teams are aligned, dependencies are managed, and delivery remains predictable and effective. 

This is more than a project management position. As a Lead Delivery Manager, you will also act as an Agile leader, coach and facilitator, helping teams continuously improve how they work while fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership and continuous delivery. 

You will lead delivery across several medium-sized initiatives while supporting multiple Agile development teams and driving execution from idea through release and adoption.   

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• 7+ years of experience working across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including at least 6 years of experience leading delivery, project or program management in a technology-driven environment 
• 5+ years of experience partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders 
• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in English

• Experience working with global, multicultural and distributed teams 
• Project Management and/or Agile certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, SAFe or equivalent) 
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence and modern delivery management tools 
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery models and coaching practices 
• Experience managing cross-team dependencies and complex delivery environments 

 

What will you be doing in this role?

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic product and technology initiatives, partnering with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering Leaders and business stakeholders from Framing and Discovery through implementation, release and value realization.
• Own delivery planning and execution, including scope, timelines, milestones, resource planning and delivery forecasting, ensuring successful outcomes across multiple concurrent initiatives. 
• Provide delivery leadership across 4-5 Agile teams, balancing business priorities, team capacity and stakeholder expectations while enabling predictable and sustainable delivery. 
• Drive cross-team collaboration and dependency management, proactively identifying and removing impediments, mitigating risks and resolving issues that may impact delivery outcomes. 
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to align roadmap objectives, delivery plans and capacity, ensuring transparency, focus and effective decision-making. 
• Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile and delivery best practices, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, collaboration and delivery excellence. 
• Lead change management and stakeholder communication, assessing the impact of evolving priorities, adapting plans and providing clear visibility into progress, risks and outcomes. 
• Contribute to the evolution of delivery frameworks, governance and ways of working, helping scale delivery excellence across the organization. 

 

About the Team

You will join Clarivate's Brand Portfolio organization, a global product and technology organization responsible for delivering market-leading trademark intelligence, brand protection and IP management solutions that support customers throughout the trademark lifecycle. The portfolio combines trusted data, innovative software and AI-powered capabilities to help organizations create, protect and grow some of the world's most valuable brands 

As a Lead Delivery Manager, you will work directly with approximately 20-30 software engineers, quality engineers, technical specialists and product stakeholders across 4-5 Agile development teams, helping them deliver customer value while continuously improving their delivery maturity, collaboration and effectiveness. 

You will also become part of a highly collaborative Intelligence Delivery Management community consisting of eight Delivery Managers, working together to shape delivery practices, share knowledge, solve complex challenges, and continuously improve how we deliver products at scale.

Hours of Work  

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within the CET time zone. 

This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
