Full description

We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Administrator/ SQL Database Administrator (DBA) with an active Secret clearance to support the development, maintenance, and security of mission-critical database systems. The ideal candidate will manage Microsoft SQL Server databases, provide AUDS system administrative assistance, ensure data integrity and availability, and work closely with development and cybersecurity teams in a secure, classified environment. Responsibilities

SQL Server

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Perform database backups, restores, tuning, and replication.
  • Monitor performance and implement optimization strategies.
  • Support database design, data modeling, and normalization.
  • Automate maintenance tasks and write T-SQL scripts and stored procedures.

SharePoint

  • Administer and maintain SharePoint Server and/or SharePoint Online environments.
  • Manage site collections, permissions, and user access.
  • Support SharePoint migrations, upgrades, and patching.

Security & Collaboration

  • Apply STIGs and security patches per DoD cybersecurity standards.
  • Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA triad).
  • Work within a classified environment and adhere to DoD security policies.
  • Collaborate with software developers, cybersecurity, and network teams.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance (minimum).
  • U.S. Citizenship (required).
  • CompTIA Security+ CE or other IAT Level II certification (DoD 8140 compliant).
  • Strong experience with T-SQL, SSMS, and database security.
  • Strong experience administering SharePoint Server and/or SharePoint Online, including site management, permissions, and migrations.
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs, RMF, or DoD cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to work on-site in a secure environment.
  • Experience in government, defense, or intelligence environments.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based (Azure/AWS GovCloud) SQL environments.
  • Any clearance requirements for this position are established by the government contract.
