PublishingTech Client #1 | QA Manual

On behalf of PublishingTech Client #1, SD Solutions is looking for a talented QA Manual to join our team and help ensure we deliver a reliable, polished, and high-quality product to our users.

You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design throughout the development lifecycle—testing new features, identifying issues before they reach production, and helping us continuously improve the quality of our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Test new features and product flows across web applications and supported environments.
• Create and maintain clear test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting information.
• Validate fixes and ensure existing functionality remains stable after releases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers from planning through release.
• Review product requirements and identify potential edge cases, risks, and gaps early in the development process.
• Help improve QA processes, release readiness, and overall product quality.
• Investigate production issues and help reproduce and validate reported problems.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in software QA or a similar testing role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Experience testing web-based products and complex user flows.
• Ability to create structured, thorough, and easy-to-follow test cases.
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to think about edge cases and unexpected user behavior.
• Experience working with bug-tracking and project-management tools.
• Good understanding of APIs, browser developer tools, and client-server applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of product quality.

Advantages:

• Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and concepts.
• Experience testing SaaS products.
