Requirements

Candidates must have 8–12 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience, including 3–5 years in a senior or lead capacity. A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required, along with professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure/Windows Server, VMware VCP, or ITIL.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Infrastructure Management

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s enterprise infrastructure environment.
  • Ensure infrastructure availability, stability, performance, and capacity.
  • Drive infrastructure lifecycle management, upgrades, and continuous optimization.

2. Compute, Virtualization & Storage

  • Administer enterprise compute, virtualization, and storage environments.
  • Monitor resource utilization, capacity, and performance.
  • Support infrastructure expansion, consolidation, and technology refresh initiatives.

3. Identity & Enterprise Systems

  • Manage enterprise identity, authentication, access, and directory services.
  • Administer core Windows and enterprise infrastructure services.
  • Ensure appropriate access controls, policies, and operational standards.

4. Patch, Monitoring & Security Management

  • Manage enterprise patching and infrastructure vulnerability remediation.
  • Maintain proactive infrastructure monitoring and performance management.
  • Support infrastructure security controls, compliance, and operational hardening.

5. Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

  • Manage enterprise backup and recovery operations.
  • Maintain and test Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity capabilities.
  • Ensure defined recovery objectives and infrastructure resilience are maintained.

6. Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Services

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 enterprise services.
  • Manage service availability, configuration, security, and user access.
  • Support collaboration and productivity platform adoption and optimization.

7. Cloud Infrastructure

  • Administer and support enterprise cloud infrastructure across Azure and OCI.
  • Monitor cloud performance, availability, security, and capacity.
  • Support cloud migration, integration, optimization, and modernization initiatives.

8. Secure Connectivity & Remote Access

  • Manage secure remote access and connectivity services.
  • Ensure availability and security of remote infrastructure access.
  • Support secure access requirements for users, applications, and operational teams.

9. Service Operations & Vendor Management

  • Provide L2/L3 technical support and infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Manage incidents, problems, changes, and infrastructure-related service requests.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors, partners, and service providers to ensure effective service delivery.

10. Infrastructure Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in and deliver infrastructure projects, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and operational improvement.
  • Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and infrastructure knowledge repositories.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 8–12 years of relevant IT Infrastructure experience
  • 3–5 years in a Senior / Lead Infrastructure Administration rolE

Qualification & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Relevant professional certifications in infrastructure technologies are preferred.
  • Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Azure Administrator
  • VMware VCP or equivalent virtualization certification
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Microsoft 365 / Security certifications
  • Cloud certification in Azure or OCI

Relevant backup, security, or networking certifications would be an advantage.
