JOB SUMMARY

The Asset Management System Administrator for Alloy Surfaces Company, Inc. (ASC) is responsible for hands-on technical support for end users, systems, and escalated issues for both onsite and remote users of ASC’s asset management tool (Dynaway). This role includes development, set-up, implementation, and training of the Dynaway module in D365. The position requires working with other system administrators from both within and outside of Chemring utilizing 3rd party consultants. This role requires a self-starter who can deliver high-quality onsite support, resolve complex issues in a timely manner, and coordinate with a Managed IT Services Partner to ensure seamless support to users in the Dynaway module.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide in person support for Dynaway migration and execution, troubleshooting, and user assistance needs
  • Become the subject matter expert for Dynaway
  • Migrate legacy asset and maintenance storage/data into D365
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOP) for Dynaway use
  • With assistance from 3rd party administrators, resolve software, configuration, and access issues
  • Monitor accuracy and usage of Dynaway system by developing diagnostic and reporting tools
  • Recommend and utilize hardware and tools to utilize Dynaway efficiently
  • Communicate with other Chemring sites using Dynaway to share best practices
  • Contribute to and maintain clear up-to-date asset reliability KPI’s
  • Assist in training personnel in how to use Dynaway

Requirements

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Fundamentals preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of basic coding, data storage, and financial programs

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance commensurate with the level of facility clearance
  • Effective listening, and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to follow established procedures while contributing to ongoing process improvements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with information technology or cybersecurity frameworks and regulations

PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Use of computer.
