Responsibilities • Perform manual and automated testing across Windows and macOS environments.
- Investigate complex defects by analyzing logs, validating system states, and working directly with the Windows Registry and macOS-specific configuration files.
- Configure, use, and troubleshoot virtual machines (VMs) to ensure cross-platform compatibility.
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Track, document, and report defects using Jira or similar issue-tracking tools. • Adapt quickly to changing sprint and business priorities, shifting focus to critical deliverables while maintaining quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks, preferably using Python, with Java or other object oriented languages also accepted.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for desktop and/or web applications.
Qualifications • Minimum 4–5 years of QA experience, with strong experience in desktop application testing on Windows/macOS and/or web testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation and writing automation code. • Python experience is a significant advantage; strong experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages is also relevant.
- Strong familiarity with configuring, using, and troubleshooting virtual machines.
- Practical experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Good knowledge of file systems, Windows Registry, and macOS configuration structures.
- Strong debugging, log analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and technical environments.
- Strong technical curiosity and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
