Full description

CEVA Logistics is a leading international logistics service provider. In the Benelux region, we operate over 50 locations spread across 30 sites, where more than 11,000 colleagues contribute daily to our success.

YOUR ROLE As a Data Analyst you join the Data Analytics team for our Mid-Brabant Area part of the Contract Logistics division at CEVA Logistics. You work across three sites: two in Tilburg and one in Waalwijk. Our clients in the Area serve both B2B and B2C markets and include De Bijenkorf, Nokia, Ajax, Google, Ace&Tate and ING.

As we shift from explaining what happened to predicting what comes next, you work end-to-end. You gather requirements from stakeholders in operations, finance, engineering, management and at our clients. You build the data pipelines, and you are responsible for the visualisation of that data as well. On top of that, you use machine learning and AI in your analysis. The role therefore combines parts of data engineering, data analysis and data science.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• You manage the relationship with stakeholders in Control Room, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Management and at our clients, and turn their questions into clear requirements. Based on your analyses and domain knowledge, you give them well-founded advice in the form of dashboards or datasets

• You maintain and expand our Azure environment: pipelines, tables, views, Logic Apps and stored procedures

• You own the full chain: you land data from our Oracle source systems in Azure, model it there, and build the dashboards on top in Power BI, Tableau or QlikSense depending on the client

• You automate and maintain recurring reporting with Python and Power Query so it runs on a schedule

• You work with version control and CI/CD on Azure, and plan your work in sprints with the team

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Data Analytics, Data Science, Econometrics, or Supply Chain Management

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Proven experience with Azure Data Services (e.g. Data Factory, Logic Apps), BI Tooling (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense) and SQL

• Python, and experience or interest in predictive modelling, optimization, and machine learning. Knowledge of Databricks is a plus

• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written

• Strong communication skills

• You are on-site at least four days a week, across our Tilburg and Waalwijk locations

At CEVA Logistics, you will have opportunities to develop your career in a dynamic environment. Our core values ‘Exemplarity, Imagination, Boldness, and Excellence’ are central to everything we do. • A gross monthly salary between € 3,627.68 and € 5,318.79, plus 8% holiday allowance (depending on your experience and education level)

• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position

• 25 vacation days, with the option of four extra days for perfect attendance, while keeping your well-being in mind

• Profit sharing of up to 3% based on positive company results, and a good pension scheme

• Laptop and phone provided

• Opportunities for personal development through courses and training via the CEVA Academy, with the option to pursue studies alongside your work.
