The Role 

Our client is seeking a Project Manager - Risk Management.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global team, providing top-tier service to existing and prospective clients while expanding the business on a product and global level. 

The successful candidate will be responsible to lead Risk Management change initiatives, overseeing end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder engagement, regulatory requirements, governance, and cross-functional collaboration across business and technology teams.

 

What you’ll do

  • Lead delivery of Risk Management regulatory, strategic, and business change initiatives, managing key workstreams from planning through execution.
  • Define and manage project scope, success criteria, timelines, resources, budgets, and KPIs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across Risk, Business, IT, BA, QA, and Development teams to drive alignment and successful delivery.
  • Monitor project dependencies, risks, issues, and governance requirements, providing timely reporting, escalation, and resolution management.
  • Leverage knowledge of front-to-back risk processes and regulatory requirements to support requirements scoping, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are clearly captured, understood, prioritized, and delivered as expected.
  • Drive continuous improvement through effective stakeholder engagement, retrospective reviews, team mentoring, and strong project management governance.

 

What you bring 

  • 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience within Risk Management or Risk Technology, with exposure to regulatory and risk system initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Credit and/or Market Risk concepts, including risk metrics, risk limits, data flows, architecture, and regulatory capital processes.
  • Experienced in managing end-to-end project delivery, leading multiple workstreams, and adapting delivery methodologies to suit project and stakeholder needs.
  • Proficient in project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project, with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong business analysis capability, including requirements elicitation, documentation, testing strategy definition, test coordination, and collaboration with development teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing project and business analysis resources, maintaining high delivery standards, and holding relevant finance, risk, or project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, FRM, MBA).
