Product Manager

Overview

The Product Manager will serve as a critical connection point between Audiohook's customers, commercial teams, leadership, and the teams responsible for building and evolving our platform.

Rather than independently owning product strategy and roadmap, this role will help inform and shape them by bringing together customer needs, market signals, business priorities, product performance, and technical considerations.

Success means Audiohook makes better-informed product decisions, learns systematically from customers, measures product performance, and clearly communicates how our products are evolving.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Client Success, Revenue (Sales and Marketing), and leadership to inform product strategy and roadmap priorities.
  • Translate customer needs, business goals, market signals, and stakeholder feedback into clear product requirements and recommendations.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop, prioritize, and execute product initiatives aligned with company objectives.
  • Bring structure and data to prioritization discussions, including opportunities, tradeoffs, dependencies, and expected impact.

Voice of the Customer

  • Serve as a central voice of the customer within Audiohook, ensuring customer needs, challenges, and feedback consistently inform product conversations.
  • Build a structured feedback loop across customers, Sales, Client Success, Product, and Engineering.
  • Conduct customer research and synthesize feedback to identify meaningful patterns and broader product opportunities.
  • Ensure customer insights are effectively communicated back to the teams responsible for product development.

Product Measurement & Reporting

  • Define, track, and report on key product metrics, including adoption, engagement, utilization, performance, and business impact.
  • Provide leadership and other stakeholders with consistent visibility into product health, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.
  • Combine quantitative and qualitative insights to evaluate product performance and inform recommendations.

Product Communication & Education

  • Communicate and educate internal stakeholders and customers on product changes, functionality, and evolution.
  • Translate technical developments into clear, useful information for different audiences.
  • Develop product updates, launch communications, enablement materials, and other resources that keep teams informed.
  • Partner with Sales and Client Success to ensure customer-facing teams understand new capabilities, limitations, positioning, and use cases.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management, product operations, or related experience.
  • Strong ability to influence and create alignment across technical and commercial teams without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer and business needs into actionable product requirements and recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience defining, interpreting, and communicating product KPIs.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to collaborate effectively with Engineering and Data teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make complex product concepts understandable to different audiences.
  • Experience building customer feedback loops and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Experience in adtech, martech, B2B SaaS, or a high-growth technology company preferred.

What Success Looks Like

  • Product strategy and roadmap decisions are consistently informed by customer needs, stakeholder input, and product data.
  • Audiohook has a reliable feedback loop connecting customers and customer-facing teams with product development.
  • Leadership has clear visibility into product adoption, performance, and business impact.
  • Internal teams and customers understand what is changing within the product, why it matters, and how to use new functionality.
  • Cross-functional stakeholders remain aligned as products move from identified needs through development, launch, adoption, and measurement.
