What you´ll do

  • Grow

and profitably maintain Henkel’s (Loctite, Aquence, Technomelt, etc.) General Industrial Adhesive Technologies business within Northwest and North Central Ohio through our distribution partners

  • Prospect

for new business opportunities at existing and targeted accounts by visiting customers and distributors in the geographic territory weekly

  • Sell

products and services by determining customer needs at existing and new accounts

  • Work

the sales process to identify, develop, and quantify the appropriate value proposition for your customers by matching their needs with our adhesive solutions

  • Educate,

motivate and train Authorized Industrial Distributors to sell LOCTITE brand products and solutions by developing and presenting training sessions

  • Analyze

sales and marketing data to strategically prospect for new business opportunities while managing existing customer base

  • Implement

strategies to support the profitable growth of Henkel’s product lines in the territory

  • Prioritize and execute sales/marketing programs for the assigned area
  • Offer

a proactive and consultative approach to exploring needs and finding innovative solutions for customers with the support of our technical team

  • Collaborate

internally with Customer Service, Marketing, Engineering, Inside Sales, Product Management and other functions to deliver an excellent customer experience while driving sustainable growth

  • Effectively

communicate progress and needs to the management team

  • Utilize

Henkel’s customer relationship management (CRM) tool to manage sales engagement activities and project pipeline. - 25% overnight travel is required

  • Territory

Coverage: Northwest and North Central Ohio

What makes you a good fit

  • 3+ years of industrial or business to business sales

experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A self-starter, who can use Henkel’s resources to maximize

opportunities within the territory

  • Time and project management skills required
  • Team player who works well with others
  • Experience working with industrial distribution is a plus
  • Ability to travel for daily customer visits up to 50-75%

The salary range for this role is $80,000.00 and $95,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
