Equitable is looking for a Senior Strategic Financial Analyst to be part of the Pricing, Insights and Analytics team within Wealth Management. In this highly visible role, you will help shape business decisions and strategy by developing analytics, financial models, and actionable insights that support growth, profitability, and informed decision-making.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the development of strategic objectives that promote disciplined growth and profitability.
- Conduct financial analysis across advisor compensation design, economics, and performance.
- Build financial models to forecast business outcomes under multiple scenarios, including developing, testing, and reviewing key assumptions and potential risks.
- Analyze data to identify issues, structure problems, and develop actionable recommendations using sound problem-solving frameworks and critical thinking.
- Research market competitors and benchmark advisor margins against industry peers.
- Define and track key performance indicators tied to core business growth drivers, business performance, and financial trajectory.
- Collaborate with Wealth Management leadership, Finance, Compensation, Field Leadership, Insurance business areas and enterprise strategy leaders to turn strategic priorities into measurable financial outcomes.
- Develop senior- and executive-level presentations that synthesize complex financial topics into clear insights and recommendations.
- The successful candidate will manage multiple complex assignments and competing priorities in a dynamic, ambiguous environment. This high-performing team values a results-driven mindset, analytical rigor, collaboration, and transparent communication.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with an on–site presence of 2–3 days per week combining flexibility with team collaboration.
The base salary range for this position is $92,000 - $135,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You Will Bring
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in strategic finance, business analytics, management consulting, and/or corporate FP&A.
- Established Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including the ability to model, manipulate, analyze, and present large or complex data sets.
- Effective technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and drive change.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Insurance or financial licenses, Six Sigma, Project Management, CPA, CFA, and/or actuarial certification.
- Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, data visualization, or dashboarding tool expertise.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior management.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations that synthesize complex issues and recommended solutions.
- Experience translating financial results into a clear, compelling business story.
- Prioritization skills with a clear focus on outcomes and results.
- Self-directed work style, with the initiative to seek proactive feedback and continuously improve.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, project-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of and passion for the financial services industry.
Skills

Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
