Business Analyst, Regulatory Reporting Technology

Overview

Join our Regulatory Reporting Technology team, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver solutions supporting global regulatory reporting obligations. You'll play a key role in regulatory change initiatives, data analysis and technology delivery across Capital Markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technology solutions.
  • Produce process flows, use cases, functional specifications and data mappings.
  • Support regulatory reporting initiatives across MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR and other reporting regimes.
  • Perform data analysis and investigate reporting issues using SQL.
  • Support solution design, testing (SIT/UAT) and implementation activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and efficiency.
  • Partner with business, technology and regulatory stakeholders to drive successful delivery.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services.
  • Exposure to Regulatory Reporting, Capital Markets or Regulatory Change programmes.
  • Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
  • SQL and data analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience supporting SIT and UAT.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR or transaction reporting.
  • Understanding of Capital Markets products and trade lifecycle processes.
  • Experience within Investment Banking or Financial Markets technology environments.
