Do you enjoy finding the manual, repetitive work inside a business and making it disappear?
Our client is a leading mobility and fleet management provider in Central and Eastern Europe. They help companies run their vehicle fleets — from booking and contracts through to costs and performance — using their own portals, apps and reporting.
This is a hands-on role in a small digital projects team of three. You will work on the company's own daily processes, workflows, system settings and reports, and you will automate them. The work runs across commercial, operations and finance, and a great deal of it is still done by hand today.
One real example from the team: pricing a tender for a fleet of two hundred cars is currently calculated manually, car by car, and redone from scratch whenever anything changes. Turning that into a workflow that runs in one click is exactly the kind of problem you would own.
What you will do
- Review internal processes and find what can be automated or simplified
- Build the automation, and build the reporting behind it in Power BI and SQL
- Configure and support the fleet management system (CarWise) and help colleagues work in it
- Work with the commercial, operations and finance teams to turn their problems into practical solutions
- Support joint projects with the Polish team from the Hungarian side
- Test new releases and processes, and keep an eye on data quality
What we are looking for
- Around four to five years of hands-on experience in reporting, automation or business systems
- Strong practical SQL — writing queries and building reports, not only reading them
- Strong practical Power BI — DAX, Power Query, data modelling
- Experience automating business processes end to end (Power Automate or similar)
- The confidence to spot an opportunity and propose it rather than wait to be asked. The team is small and this knowledge does not exist in-house yet, which is precisely why they are hiring
- Fluent Hungarian and English
Good to have, not required
- Experience with fleet, leasing, automotive or telematics data
- Experience with ERP or fleet management platforms
- An interest in where AI can genuinely save time. The company is open to it, but there is no AI mandate and no AI stack to inherit — Power BI or SQL is an equally welcome answer
