About the Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening how ANZ manages complaints end to end. Your work will help the bank recognise issues sooner, act more consistently, and build greater trust with customers who rely on us to resolve their concerns properly.
This role is ideal for an experienced Senior business analyst who wants to meaningfully improve customer outcomes, strengthen ANZ’s risk and control environment and contribute to restoring confidence in our complaints management practices.

What will your day look like?
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
- An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants, putting them at the centre of everything you do
- A desire to optimise customer journeys and experiences
- Existing functional experience or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Business Analysis, Learning & Facilitation,
- Change Management / Implementation, Business Process Architecture, Performance excellence, Assurance, Marketing, Productsor Channels
- Ability to explore customer needs in a data-driven way, develop and implement innovative solutions, test the outcomes, and iterate
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Leverage data and insights to lead the development and execution of the design, delivery
- Flexible and Fadaptable (able to work in ambiguous, fast paced, and cross-functional environments)
- A strong execution mindset and ability to deliver quality outputs within required timeframes, and be able to make decisions autonomously and communicate direction, rationale, and outcomes clearly
- Ideally you may also have experience in Agile methods of working including use of Jira and Confluence
- Deep business analysis skills, including elicitation techniques and the ability to define requirements in complex and challenging environments.
- Ability to solve complex problems using a range of techniques
- Ability to define and articulate business and customer needs and drivers to inform decision making, assess and design solution outcomes & identify capability gaps (people, process and technological).
- Extensive understanding of tools and frameworks that can enhance solutioning
